The sun is the source of power for everything in the solar system, and without it, life would simply cease to exist, just as it does without the cell. Cells are one of the characteristics we use to define whether something is alive or not and without the sun’s rays, all photosynthesis on Earth would stop. All plants would die and, eventually, all animals that rely on plants for food — including humans — would die, too.
