Cardiac muscle cells are found in the heart’s walls and have a striped (striated) appearance. They are controlled involuntarily.Smooth muscle is a form of muscle tissue that is utilized to exert pressure on veins and organs by numerous systems. Also known as involuntary muscle, it has no cross stripes when examined under a microscope.
Long cells called muscle fibers make up skeletal muscle tissue, which has a striated appearance. Skeletal muscles contract and relax in response to voluntary nervous system impulses to attach to and move bones.
