Nervous tissue, for example, is found in the brain, spinal cord, and nerves. It coordinates and controls many of your body’s activities: stimulating muscle contraction, creating an awareness of the environment, and playing a significant role in emotions, memory, and reasoning.

You could say it’s the connective tissue that connects all of your organs. But it’s more than that—it’s what keeps you alive. You don’t need to know about nervous tissue; you have to start appreciating it!
