Histology Art (MT 30 – I) 4 years, 6 months ago By far, this is the most complex system among the other organ systems. It is formed by billion networks of nerve cells called neurons. This is the Nervous System. The nervous system has Nerve Tissues distributed all throughout the body intended for communications, coordination, and controlling of body activities.The Nervous tissue encompasses two different types of cells, namely the neurons and glial cells. Both cannot function well if one of them is absent. The glial cells function as a support for the neurons since it is considered to be a primary cell in the nervous tissue.
The Illustration posted consists of Nervous tissues under the microscope. Specifically, the tissues presented are the Mammal cerebellum, nodes of Ranvier, and a cerebrum. These illustrations were drawn using the IbisPaint X application and designed using Canva.
