    The digestive system is comprised of organs that work together to convert food into energy and essential nutrients for the body’s nutrition. The alimentary canal, often known as the gastrointestinal tract, is a lengthy tube inside the body that transports foo. The oral cavity, pharynx, esophagus, stomach, small intestines, and large intestines make up the alimentary canal. There are several essential accessory organs that assist your body digest food but do not have food flow through them, in addition to the alimentary canal. The teeth, tongue, salivary glands, liver, gallbladder, and pancreas are all digestive system accessory organs.
