Histology Art (MT 30 – I) 2022 4 years ago The mouth, esophagus, stomach, small and large intestine, and anus are the organs connected to each other that made up our Digestive System. They are what we call the gastrointestinal tract or GI tract which also include the gall bladder, liver, and pancreas. They are all connected to each other from our mouth down to the anus. The Digestive System is one important and significant part of a person’s body. It functions uniquely by breaking down foods into nutrients and energy as well as keeping a person healthy and kicking.
Moreover, it functions as an exit that packages waste or stool from our body when a bowel movement occurs. It serves as a disposal path to eliminate wastes and maybe also harmful substances inside the body.
In the illustration, the Appendix, Duodenum, and Liver are shown. The pictures were drawn using the IbisPaint X application. And, it was arranged using Photogrid and PicsArt.
Duodenum is a short descending tube that happens to curve around the pancreas making a ‘C’ shape. Its form then connects to the other coiled intestines. Furthermore, this is the part of the small intestine which the first feeding process of the stomach takes place.
