The gall bladder is a simple muscular sac lined with a simple columnar epithelium that is very easy to see through. It takes and stores bile from the liver through the hepatic and then the cystic ducts. It can hold about 50 to 100ml in people. It is connected to the visceral layer of the liver. The mucosa of the appendix is lined with columnar epithelium and has a lot of gastrointestinal, endocrine cells, and goblet cells. The appendix is a joint for carcinoid tumors that come from argentaffin cells to grow. In addition, the mucosa in the ileum is simple columnar epithelium; it also has Peyer’s patches. The  Submucosa has nerves and blood vessels. The Tunica muscularis has circular and longitudinal layers of muscle, and the serosa is a simple, squamous epithelium.
