The ureter, on the other hand, is a tiny tube or duct that links the bladder to the kidneys. Urine is transported from the kidneys to the bladder through these thin channels. Thirdly, the nephron is the kidney’s primary functional and structural unit that filters blood and regulates water and soluble chemicals like sodium salts.
