It consists of organizations, institutions, and resources dedicated to producing health actions that improve people’s health. It is the method by which all health services are provided to the public. This includes how they are funded (workforce), the facilities and supplies that are made available, as well as other factors that ensure high-quality and strong healthcare without financial difficulty.
2) Philippine Health System
The Philippines has a large number of highly skilled healthcare workers, and private facilities provide high-quality medical equipment, implying that the country’s healthcare system is of high quality. However, the majority of Filipinos rely on public healthcare, and there are significant disparities between public and private health institutions, as well as factors influencing overall healthcare in the country. Most people can only afford to be admitted to public hospitals, which are of lower quality than private hospitals. Factors such as the trend of Filipino medical staff migrating to higher-paying countries strain the system because hospitals are now understaffed, causing delays in patient treatment.
