The Importance of Material Management in the Clinical Laboratory and Household:
Material Management is important in the clinical laboratory in order to ensure a smooth acquisition, storage, distribution, and disposal of very necessary supplies such as our reagents and labwares. This is so that we can properly manage our inventories, and even go as far as to make smart decisions in the budgeting for these said materials and reducing their unnecessary waste. It very much ensures smart buying, handling, and organization for the lab. The same can be said for the household, albeit it is a more subdued version of management. In this area, perhaps the biggest significance would be the management of costs.
