Throughout the whole time journeying with this course, I have learned a lot. MT 14 LEC made me realized how important Health Information System is and our virtual laboratory has played a significant role in further sharpening our knowledge as we apply it in the real world. Given the substantial amount of patient data and information in our healthcare facilities, storing such data presents a significant challenge for the institution. Health information system could really help hospitals and laboratories in managing these data, the progress of such technologies would foster growth in the healthcare sector. Furthermore, through this course I have understand fully the concept of laboratories, the tests performed and how it should be handled, as well as the different policies and guidelines that should be followed, these knowledge would play a significant role as I continue to walk in this path as a future Medical Technologist.
