Whole person education ties in seamlessly with the notion of multiple intelligence, as it presents a holistic approach to areas an individual can improve their knowledge on. In multiple intelligence, intelligence quotient (IQ) , the most well-established out of the six, which promotes a persons’s ability to think critically and approach things with logic and reasoning. One might think that that is all there is, but there are actually more types of intelligence. Emotional intelligence (EQ), which measure one’s capability to understand and communicate feelings. Social intelligence (SQ), which refers to how you can thrive in interactions with other human beings. Adversity intelligence (AQ), which measures one’s resilience in difficult situations. Cultural intelligence (CQ), which measures the knowledge of traditions and customs of a certain group. And lastly, financial intelligence (FQ), which measures one’s aptitude in budgeting funds and making sound money-related decisions. Overall, with multiple intelligence, one can be much more educated in developing their own self in different essential aspects.
