The first slide shows the vein. This carries deoxygenated blood from all the other parts of the body back to the heart. It is composed of the tunica intima -made of endothelium, subendothelial layer, and internal elastic lamina-, tunica media, and tunica adventitia.
The second slide shows the vena cava. This collects deoxygenated blood from both the upper and lower halves of the body and drain them to the right atrium. It is also comprised of the tunica intima, tunica media, and tunica adventitia.
