ASCLEPIUS DIAGNOSTICS Laboratory Services Overview: Our laboratory specializes in limited testing, focusing specifically on hematology and clinical microscopy while excluding blood banking services. We are authorized to perform essential routine laboratory tests, offering a fundamental set of services including:  
  • Basic Hematology or Complete CBC: This thorough test encompasses crucial parameters such as hemoglobin, hematocrit, WBC count, differential count, and qualitative platelet determination.
  • Standard Urinalysis: An analysis of urine samples to evaluate various health indicators.
  • Routine Fecalysis: Examination of fecal samples for the detection and diagnosis of gastrointestinal conditions.
  • Blood Typing: Determination of blood type for compatibility assessments; with additional focus if the laboratory is hospital-based.
  In a hospital environment, our expanded services include:
  • Blood Typing: Ensuring compatibility for transfusions and medical procedures.
  • Qualitative Platelet Determination: Evaluating platelet function to assist in diagnosing bleeding disorders.
  To support these services, our lab is furnished with the following equipment: Microscopes: Essential for detailed examination of blood and tissue samples.   Centrifuge: Used to separate components of blood and other substances for analysis.   Blood Collection Tubes: Necessary for proper and hygienic blood sample collection.   Hematocrit Centrifuge: Specifically designed for measuring the volume percentage of red blood cells.   Capillary Tubes: Used in various procedures, including blood collection and microhematocrit determinations. In terms of infrastructure, our laboratory necessitates a minimum space of 10 square meters to ensure optimal functionality while complying with regulatory standards. Additionally, the lab is equipped with a refrigeration unit for proper storage of samples and reagents, as well as a computerized laboratory information management system
