Defining Information Systems

In my opinion, the term "Information System" refers to the system and/or process used by us, end-users, to obtain, store, and process data, as well as how we disseminate such data to other trusted establishments and networks. In today's modern world, we might see these systems in large corporations or hospitals where there is a clear need to transfer data from one management system to another.
