Goal 1 -- To be able to instil a sense of environmental responsibility and awareness within constituents and audiences.               Objective 1 - To establish organisational awareness.                   Strategy 1: Grow audience numbers through media exposure                         Tactic 1 -- Spread Media Presence Brief Description: Share the organisation’s group through word of mouth by social media outlets and by linking the organisation’s web page. Timetable: September - October 2021 Cost: None                           Tactic 2 -- Formulate headlines and titles that could garner clicks. Brief Description: Use creative media devices such as “clickbait” to attract more viewers and visitors to the organisational web page. Timetable: September - October 2021 Cost: None                     Strategy 2:  To publish relevant and eye-opening articles, infomedia, and videos, etc.                         Tactic 1 -- Collect media (videos, photos) that exhibit the city’s trash management. Brief Description: Go on the road to capture the waste management in Dumaguete city as far as from the metropolitan area to the outskirts of town and collect multimedia. Timetable: September - October 2021 Cost: Php 200 -300 for transportation/ fuel                            Tactic 2 -- Create eye-catching and informative content. Brief Description: Utilize various tools such as graphic editing software and video editing programs to create appealing infographics, posters, or content in general. Incorporate relevant information and collected media to create content that conveys the organisation’s advocacy to resonate with the general audience and the organisation’s members. Timetable: September - October 2021 Cost: subject to the availability of content creating programs and technology.   Goal 2 -- To establish the importance of the organisation’s ideologies as a necessity to help improve the community.              Objective 1 - To strengthen ties between the community and its environment.                   Strategy 1: Build sustainable connections within communities and constituent networks.                         Tactic 1 -- Create virtual portals for efficient communication.  Brief Description: Creating virtual communities like social media groups, servers, etc., in order to better communicate and connect with the target audience and allow the community to interact with each other. Timetable: September - October 2021 Cost: None                           Tactic 2 -- Conduct open forums and surveys to determine public thoughts and opinions. Brief Description: Instigate open forums and surveys within communities for constituents to share their opinions, thoughts and suggestions towards the organisation and its activities. Timetable: Sporadic, may occasionally occur at least once every few weeks. Cost: None                     Strategy 2: Engage the community in activities related to the organisation’s cause.                         Tactic 1 -- Initiate interactive virtual activities that allow public participation. Brief Description: Hosting virtual activities like games, quizzes or forums to entice community members towards the organisation’s goals. Timetable: Sporadic, may occasionally occur at least once every few weeks. Cost: None   Goal 3 -- To educate the citizens of Dumaguete on the current policies regarding proper waste management in the city.             Objective 1: Look into current waste management policies of Dumaguete City                   Strategy 1: Communicate with local government units regarding their policies and ordinances on the waste management of Dumaguete City.                         Tactic 1-- Reach out to the City Environment and Natural Resources Office (ENRO) office to ask for copies of documents regarding the waste management in Dumaguete City. Brief Description: Communicating with the local government to ensure that the organisation can obtain timely and relevant information regarding waste management in Dumaguete City; this will ensure that the information disseminated by the organisation to the public is credible and trustworthy.  Timetable: September 27 - October 1, 2021 Cost: Php 200-300 for official documents                           Tactic 2: Reach out to private organisations whose mission and vision coincides with the organisation   Brief Description: Seek further information through other private organisations to help and cooperate with the organisation’s plans regarding the concern. Work together with the private organisations to encourage other individuals of Dumaguete City who oppose the matter to create a bigger platform to spread awareness to other citizens.  Timetable: September 11 - 18, 2021 Cost: Transportation fee depending on the distance of the organisation.                     Strategy 2: Use the internet to look into ordinances and policies concerning the waste management of Dumaguete City.                         Tactic 1-- Look into national and local ordinances concerning waste management in Dumaguete City by looking into government websites. Brief Description: Making use of the information available in government websites to gather information on how waste management should be conducted on a national and local level. This is necessary for the organisation to create materials that are suitable for its purpose. Timetable: September 11, 2021 - September 18, 2021 Cost: 0               Objective 2: Determine which parts of the ordinance are often neglected by the public                   Strategy 1: Reach out to ENRO to determine which points of the ordinance on waste management should the organisation focus on                         Tactic 1: Formulate a set of questions regarding the information from the ordinance on laboratory waste management to be answered via email or an interview. Brief Description: The questions will help determine which parts of the ordinance the organisation should focus on disseminating to the public. This will help gauge how the citizens of Dumaguete City follow the policies set by the government concerning waste management. Timetable: September 28, 2021 - September 19, 2021. Cost: 0                           Tactic 2: Interview local trash collectors and ask what regulations they follow when it comes to collection Brief Description: Interviewing local garbage collectors will allow the organisation to see how the city’s ordinance on waste management is exercised. It will show the citizen’s behaviour towards the regulations as well as the government’s response. Timetable:  September 28, 2021 - September 19, 2021 Cost: Php 100 for snacks to be given to local garbage collectors after the interview                     Strategy 2: Look into blogs or other organisations that study waste management in Dumaguete City                         Tactic 1: Look into local internet personalities who have tried addressing waste management in Dumaguete City. Brief Description: Coordinating with local personalities who create or have created content regarding the waste management in Dumaguete City will give an outsider’s opinion that can be compared to the information provided by the local authorities. This may also facilitate an exchange of ideas and information and a chance to pitch for publicity. Timetable: September 11, 2021 - September 18, 2021 Cost: 0                           Tactic 2: Reach out to local organisations whose mission and vision relates to the goals of the organisation Brief description: Communicating with other organisations is essential in determining what has been done and what has not been done by the local government regarding waste management. This will provide insights into how the ordinance is fairing and how effective it is in the eyes of an outsider. Timetable: September 11, 2021 - September 18, 2021 Cost: 0
