Filariasis Test
The Bioline Filariasis Test Strip is an in vitro immunochromatographic assay for the qualitative detection of Wuchereia bancrofti antigen in human capillary whole blood samples collected by fingerstick. It is intended to aid in the rapid diagnosis of lymphatic filariasis caused by W. boncrofti. It is recommended that negative test results be confirmed by standard diagnostic methods such as thick smear microscopy, membrane filtration, or another antigen detection method. |
