What is an Information System?

MT14-CC’s Docs What is an Information System?

An information system is a system that has a collection of data or information that can be organized and managed in many ways. The information or data in this system is organized and managed with the use of different types of software and hardware. Organizing these data in a system increases efficiency in accessing the information, thus making it more convenient. Convenience in accessing these data in an information system helps organizations or companies to efficiently work in any operation they have whether it will be with their employees or customers (What is Information System? Definition, Examples, & Facts, 2022).
