An information system is a system designed to manage data/information so that it is easily accessible for collection, storage, distribution, and analysis. According to MDS (2020), it is made up of various components like hardware, software, data, telecommunications, and human resources that allow for the efficient handling and distribution of information. Information systems are essential for businesses, organizations, institutions, etc. because it helps executives during decision-making, marketing, etc. Furthermore, the data gathered by information systems can also be transformed into products or used for policy changes to improve our way of living.
