Spurs will sanction further signings if players leave the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium before the end of the transfer window, Conte revealed on Thursday. There are several individuals who could depart the club and Conte is desperate not to have his ranks weakened.
Harry Winks, Sergio Reguilon and Tanguy Ndombele could all leave Spurs this month. The trio have all been banished from first-team training sessions and told to find new clubs.
Winks was previously linked with Everton but that interest appears to have cooled. Reguilon could return to Spain, while Ndombele is rumoured to be of interest to Napoli.
Spurs confirmed their seventh summer signing earlier this week, with teenage wing-back Udogie arriving from Udinese. The 19-year-old will return to the Serie A side on loan for the remainder of the season.
Conte has said that Udogie is a player for the future and describes him as a ‘good prospect’. It echoes how the former Chelsea manager spoke of fellow summer addition Djed Spence, who was signed from Middlesbrough.
