A COVID-19 prevention campaign and awareness movement.
PAGLihay Movement is a student organization that aims to strengthen public health programs and awareness campaigns against COVID-19 through different online and media platforms. PAGLihay is composed of students from Silliman University – Institute of Clinical and Laboratory Sciences (ICLS) and supported by Registered Medical Technologist alumni/faculty of the college and Philippine Association of Medical Technologists (PAMET) – Negros Oriental Chapter.
Mission
PAGLihay Movement shall have a wider promotion reach of public health programs and measures (wearing of face masks, social distancing, handwashing, and many more) of different local health sectors not only in Dumaguete City. PAGLihay shall also be able to connect, reach and further educate residents even in the farthest and remote places in Negros Oriental about the COVID-19 pandemic. PAGLihay shall be one of the most effective in terms of CORRECT and RELEVANT facts about the COVID-19 pandemic and how to avoid getting infected.
Vision
PAGLihay will strengthen public health programs about COVID-19. PAGLihay will spread awareness about COVID-19 in Negros Oriental and provide good information that contribute to health and well-being of Negrosanons amid the pandemic with a wider reach. PAGLihay will help people to be aware about health and will also help stop the local transmissions of the virus and achieve zero cases in Negros Oriental.
