Mission:
Silliman Cycling Advocacy or SiCAd aims to promote biking as a main mode of transportation inside and outside the campus Silliman University. We hope to support and partner with the environment committee in promoting less carbon emission, and the Physical Education Department in the promotion of health and wellness. We want to give our services to our fellow Sillimanians and the people of Dumaguete, to train individuals who are willing to learn cycling in the most efficient way possible and encourage them to use safety gear for their protection. We will promote social distancing in transportation preventing the spread of the virus amidst this pandemic.
Vision:
SiCAd initiative hopes to see everyone riding their bicycle as a mode of transportation for the benefit of their health and the environment. Our vision is to introduce Silliman University and the City of Dumaguete as a biking utopia, where cyclers from all over the country can safely tour our beautiful campus and introduce the beauty of Dumaguete.
