Because it is everyone’s fundamental right to have access to healthcare, we are also obligated to have a strong health system that supports and ensures everyone’s health. According to the World Health Organization (2000), health systems are “all activities whose primary purpose is to promote, restore, and maintain health.” Health systems are open systems because they are susceptible to external influences such as poverty, education, infrastructure, and the social-political environment. 3) Primary Health Care

It is a comprehensive approach to everyone’s health and well-being, including individuals, families, and communities. It recognizes the links between health, social and economic development, and the environment, which is also the foundation and focus of our healthcare systems. Its mission is to provide people with comprehensive, accessible, and affordable health care. Primary health care provides care for us at every stage of our lives, guiding our nutrition and diet, identifying common problems for early detection and prevention, and continuously promoting healthy living because it believes that people’s health is central to health care.
