Interests

My interests are a blend of the scientific, artistic, and cultural. I’m deeply drawn to visual arts, which serve as a powerful means of expressing ideas and emotions. Biology fascinates me because it helps me understand the intricacies of life and the world around us. Additionally, I am captivated by the world of K-pop, particularly the girl group Twice, whose vibrant energy and artistry bring a unique sense of connection and joy. Together, these interests allow me to appreciate both the aesthetics and scientific wonder in the world around me, fostering a unique, interdisciplinary perspective. Visual arts have always held a special place in my heart, as they allow for limitless self-expression. I enjoy exploring various forms, from painting and sculpture to digital illustration, as each medium brings its own ways of conveying ideas. Through art, I can express my thoughts and feelings in ways words cannot. Furthermore, my passion for biology often finds its way into my artwork. For example, I’m fascinated by how natural forms, like the structure of cells or the patterns of plant growth, can inspire organic and dynamic compositions in my art. This blending of art and biology has opened up new avenues for me, allowing me to create pieces that are as scientifically inspired as they are artistically fulfilling. Biology, as a scientific field, is endlessly fascinating to me. It provides insight into the fundamental processes that govern life, from the cellular level to entire ecosystems. I’m particularly interested in how biological concepts can intersect with art to communicate complex ideas in accessible ways. Studying topics like genetics or evolution has taught me that life is interconnected and intricately designed, and I am often inspired to illustrate these relationships visually. Understanding biology not only deepens my appreciation of life’s complexity but also enriches my artistic approach, as I can incorporate accurate details and concepts into my work. My interest in Twice, the K-pop girl group, is both a source of inspiration and a connection to a wider cultural movement. Twice has a vibrant, energetic aesthetic, and their music videos and performances showcase a unique blend of fashion, choreography, and storytelling. Each member brings her own personality to the group, creating a dynamic that resonates with audiences worldwide, including me. The group’s visuals, from their costumes to their carefully crafted music videos, provide me with creative inspiration. I find their visual approach to be not just beautiful but highly innovative, and it encourages me to think about how visuals and aesthetics can influence emotional impact. Being a fan of Twice has given me a window into Korean culture and pop music, broadening my global perspective and showing me how visual arts can thrive in different cultural contexts. In combining these interests, I find a unique balance that fuels my creativity and curiosity. Visual arts, biology, and K-pop each offer different forms of inspiration and knowledge, but together, they enrich my understanding of both the natural world and the world of human expression. Whether I’m exploring a scientific concept, creating a piece of art, or enjoying a Twice performance, I am constantly reminded of the beauty, complexity, and creativity that connect all aspects of life.
