A network of tubes and ducts are used to transport this trash. These tubes are linked to the circulatory and digestive systems. Your urinary system aids in the normal functioning of the rest of your body. Your urinary system filters your blood to eliminate unwanted substances. It removes excess water and salt, as well as poisons and other wastes. Various components of the urinary system fulfill the following functions:
-Filtration of blood
-Separating the contaminants that you do not need from the nutrients that you do require.
