Histology Art (MT 30 – J) 4 years, 7 months ago Connective tissue fills the spaces between organs and tissues and provides structural and metabolic support for other tissues and organs (Paxton et al., 2020). Example of connective tissues include elastic cartilage, bone, and fibrocartilage. In this illustration, I used canva as a tool. The microscopic view of the connective tissue was from the works of Rica M. Rodriguez, Seana Trasmonte, and Sofia Denise Asara.
