The whole duration of the video tears my heart into pieces seeing how underprivileged people do not have adequate access to quality health care services. It reveals the other side of the curtain, showing how numerous issues such as insufficient budget, a lack of medical professionals, and outdated medical equipment in public hospitals afflict the Philippine healthcare system. As a result, the public healthcare system is dysfunctional and frequently fails to offer the population, especially in rural and remote areas, access to essential health services. The quality of care in private healthcare facilities is generally better, but is often unaffordable for many Filipinos. This is exactly a representation of the first video, how unequally distributed health care service would greatly affect a certain population. Our health is one of the most important aspect of our life, failure to take good care of it, people wouldn’t be able to live the life they always wanted in the first place. I’ve finished this video with a little sparkle of hope that each individual would be able to acquire equal treatment inside and outside of the healthcare facilities.
