Information systems are the study of integrated hardware and software networks that individuals and organizations use to collect, analyze, produce, and handle data (Zwass, 2022). In my opinion, the term “Information System” refers to the system and/or process used by us, end-users, to obtain, store, and process data, as well as how we disseminate such data to other trusted establishments and networks. In today’s modern world, we might see these systems in large corporations or hospitals where there is a clear need to transfer data from one management system to another.
