WHAT DO YOU PREFER ANDROID OR IOS?
Since machines and technology were created to significantly improve our lives. A technology and machine that has significantly impacted our lives in the present is the smartphone. Both Android and iOS have made significant contributions to how we interact with others, assist us with our duties, allow us to keep a record of the past through images and data, and have a lot more to offer. But out of the two, I prefer iOS. Apple makes both the hardware and the operating system for its iOS, making it a closed environment in… Read More |

IOS vs. Android
Personally, I would say iOS is better than Android. Aside from the fact that I myself currently use an IOS, I’ve used Android in the past; both are good, but the IOS system is just better since it’s for the long term. Until now, I still have my iPhone 7 Plus, and it is still functioning well, unlike my old Android, which can barely keep up with my fingers. |

Best Laboratory information systems that laboratories nowadays use
For this assignment, I checked a review site for the best LIS present today that has a more active community than other review sites. And I found out that there’s a wide range of options and that the choice of LIS depends on its suitability in the type of laboratory it’s to be installed. The review site I checked is great because it contains a lot of information and reviews about the different LISs that is available today. And one of the leading LIS in the reviews that I found interesting is… Read More |

IOS (Closed source software) VS Android (Open source software)
Looking at the two, I’d say Android is a better option because it offers flexibility — allowing users to freely modify the system; it’s more transparent; and it has wider developer support as more users use it because it’s more cost-effective (Mcdonald, 2011). However, I don’t think I’ll get to use the advantages it offers because I’m not good at handling computers and the technicals associated with it. It takes a lot of time to learn about it and I don’t think I have the time to invest in learning those things…. Read More |

🔬 Laboratory Information Systems
Margarita S. Resuelo MT 14 – CC What is LIS? The vital system that is designed to oversee the operations of the laboratory, most especially pertaining to the management, storage, and processing of patient data, is attributed to a Laboratory Information System (LIS) (Orchard Software, 2023). As a healthcare software, LIS involves the integration of computers and information technology to interactively manipulate and completely coordinate all work processes in different sections of the clinical laboratory in a structured, organized manner. It contributes to better patient care and boosts efficiency in the workplace… Read More |

Implications of AI on my job as well as jobs in general.
Well considering that AI has many uses, it could be useful in categorizing many things, as well as processing thing to make it faster and more efficient, so we can help the flow of work to be much more faster and accurate. This is same for many other workplaces, where it could automate many situations that require a lot of precision and calculations, thus giving the human workers more time to focus on the more specific tasks that can only be done by humans. In the years and decades to come, artificial… Read More |

Laboratory Information System
Laboratory Information Systems and their uses: Laboratory Information System (LIS) manages the day-to-day workflow and activities of a clinical laboratory including asset tracking, status monitoring, task segmentation and distribution, and is fundamental to the operation of a laboratory. Laboratory Information Systems are unique and specialized to each laboratory as they are made depending on the requirements of the staff, users, and the laboratory itself (Sinard J. et. al., 2015). Artificial Intelligence and its Implications: Artificial Intelligence (AI) refers to the replication or simulation of human intelligence by computer systems or machines. For… Read More |

LIS [ASSIGNMENT-PABUTOY]
Q1: What is LIS? A: According to R. McCudden et al. (2020), the core of managing clinical laboratory information is the Laboratory Information System (LIS), which encompasses software, operating systems, and hardware tailored to the specific needs of a laboratory. The configuration of the LIS can be highly customized to support the operational processes of the laboratory. They added that the LIS plays a crucial role in every stage of laboratory testing, facilitating the flow of information to and from the system throughout the process of coming up with a result. … Read More |
